FREE LEGAL CLINIC

The Women’s Resource Center has established a free legal clinic in collaboration with participating Livingston County family law attorneys.

The purpose of the clinic is to offer women access to legal information in an empathetic environment. Participating attorneys will provide free half-hour legal consultations on a monthly rotation at either the Women’s Resource Center or their own offices. They will answer questions and give legal advice on issues such as divorce, custody, and other family-related matters.

Consultations are held on Fridays; hours vary. Call 517-548-2200 to make an appointment.

After the initial consultation, attorneys are under no obligation to consult further with you free of charge or to take your case.
